Government Industrial Training Institute, Kota is one of the premier institutions in Hadoti Region. The main potential power of industries in kota is fullfill by ITI. It is well known and well recognized for its vocational training standards and placements. We also have associative relations with leading industries in and around the kota area. We provide a resource institute for the training of technical personnel, workers etc.
Each year about 100 trainees are placed in industries as a apprentiship training. Growth and development of industry is very much related to development of Industrial Training Institutes. Industry will be able to grow and prosper only if the trainees coming out from various Industrial Training Institutes are able to meet the expectation of industry.
To ensure the competency of trained students of ITI’s at par with the international requirements NCVT, DGET and QCI has joined hands to establish an accreditation mechanism in line with international benchmark. The synergy between these organizations will help us to meet the national target of skilled man power not only quantitatively but also qualitatively.

The industrial training Wing of Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training has been entrusted with the responsibility of imparting vocational training in Engineering and Non-Engineering trades under craftsman training scheme & App. Training scheme to cater to the needs of the industry in respect of skilled workers. Industrial Training Institute of Kota work under Craftsman Training Scheme of Government of India, Director – General Employment and Training under the directions of DGET which is the apex body at Government of India level for co-ordinating development of Vocational Training in the country.
Similar to the National Council for Vocational Training at Central level, State council for Vocational Training at state level is responsible for Co-ordinating an integrated development of Vocational Training.
For the implementation of the craftsman training scheme, Industrial Training Institute, Kota was started in Feb 1959.
